Our firm is seeking an enthusiastic bookkeeper/admin support person to join our team. The person in this role is an integral part of the team as they will interact with clients regularly (often as the first point of contact), help clients and staff with their bookkeeping and administrative needs and make sure that the office procedures run smoothly.
Duties include full-cycle bookkeeping for clients, PST, GST, Payroll, WCB, A/P, A/R, and bank reconciliations.
Other responsibilities may be to provide reception duties, administrative support, and other general office duties as required.
Successful candidates must have a good working knowledge of MSWord and Excel. Good working knowledge of Simply Accounting (Sage 50) and/or QuickBooks (desktop and Online) is an asset.
The successful candidate must have the ability to multi-task and manage multiple deadlines, have excellent communication skills (both written and oral), have the ability to recognize and set priorities, and be a team player
